Mr. Richard Osei Anim
Richard Osei-Anim is a pan-African AI strategy architect, organizational transformation leader, and enterprise growth adviser who converts abstract ambition into working infrastructure. As CEO and Founder of Coral Reef Innovation Africa (CRIA), he delivers fully operational AI and STEM labs across the continent, transforming education in underserved communities through hands-on learning, teacher training, and measurable outcomes. Known for clarity of thought and a bias toward execution, Richard aligns governments, corporates, foundations, and communities around action, not rhetoric. He treats talent as infrastructure, education as a production system, and technology as a public good — helping move Africa from promise to proof.
Under Richard’s leadership, CRIA provides turnkey AI Labs as a Service, integrating infrastructure, Intel-aligned curriculum, robotics, teacher certification, and ongoing support into a fully managed system for schools. Unlike traditional lab setups, CRIA ensures sustainability, measurable outcomes, and institutional ownership, enabling schools to develop a continuous pipeline of AI and digital talent. The organization has partnered with Newmont Africa and the Ghana Education Service to deploy AI and STEM labs in rural and underserved communities.
Richard is recognized for building ventures that are commercially disciplined, impact-grounded. As a Mastercard EdTech Fellow, he has built and scaled a pan-African education and innovation platform operating across multiple countries, delivering AI-ready Smart Labs, digital skills programmes, and talent pipelines reaching tens of thousands of learners through public-private partnerships with governments, multinational firms, foundations, and universities.
His work includes designing Education 4.0 initiatives that integrate AI, coding, robotics, financial literacy, and entrepreneurship, with outcomes including international competition wins, scholarship placements, and global exposure for African youth. Richard has also advised on policy and institutional reform, translating emerging technology trends into practical governance and delivery models. As CEO of Coral Reef, he continues to engage leaders and organizations seeking strategic guidance on AI adoption, organizational transformation, and scalable impact ventures.
